Vegan and Rawfoods
Delicious vegan meals will be produced for you to eat at the retreat. Multiple fusions of cuisines such as Asian, European, Mexican, Italian and Greek food styles. Indian curries are our favourite. And of course Rawfood feasts look out for special detox retreats catering for Raw and juice fasting. Organic where possible often grown in our vegetable garden or fruit and nut orchards.
No alcohol nor meat is allowed here in the Buddha Field.
We eat a large percentage raw here in our meals. Large avocado salads with gourmet lettuces. Some retreats are only rawfoods. Look out for them to dextox. See for info on rawfoods research.
Mouth watering banquets of delicious vegan meals catering to all styles, but particularly Indian curries with organic brown rice with cashews and vegan lasagna lentil supreme are our specialty. Mexican tacos, beans, with vegan sour cream and cheese, is also sought after.
Fruit juices can supplement your retreat meals or else try a day or two, or an entire retreat cleansing your temple body just on juices. Smoothies made from organic produce here such as mangos, oranges, starfruit combined with apples and melons makes for a heavenly healing nectar!
Breakfast with Swiss muesli, premium nuts and fresh fruit such as strawberries, apple, melon and pineapple with sweet sapoty. Herbal tea, fresh juice, and sour dough rye with smashed avocado and truss tomatoes with a sprig of parsley and onion, makes for a delicious start to the day.
Detox Vegetable Juices and Water Fasts
Nourishing your body with celery, carrot, spinach, apple, beetroot juices combined with a water fast is an excellent way to detox from the sludge accumulated in the bowels. Enemas can assist. And so purify and cleanse the body of dead food dragging your emotions down. Ask about retreats catering to this.
Exquisite herbal teas of many flavours have intrinsic healing properties. Herbs are grown here to nourish your depleted body and revitilise it.
